The traditional dish of Chianciano Terme is pici. A type of fresh hand-rolled pasta similar to large spaghetti. The dough is made only of flour, water and a pinch of salt.

Caseificio Cugusi
Caseificio Cugusi, located between Montepulciano and Pienza, is a family business founded in 1962. It produces fine cheeses, such as pecorino, using traditional artisanal techniques and the milk of its own sheep raised in the pastures of the Val d'Orcia. This farm raises Cinta Senese pigs in a semi-wild state and produces cold cuts in Montepulciano, Tuscany. It is possible to visit the farm by taking a short walk among the olive trees and vineyard, go horseback riding, enjoy ATV tours in the Val d'Orcia, and taste the products.
